Estréia de Mutante Rex | Generator Rex Premiere in Brazil

The Rex Ride | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

It's nice having your own set of wheels.

Well, technically this ride doesn't have wheels, but you know what I mean.

It's lightning-fast and can turn on a dime, but it also brings the pain with a retractable battering ram that can smash through anything.

The Rex Ride can easily outrun anything on four legs, or in the case of this one EVO, seven legs.

But for some reason, the EVO thought it could get away. I caught up to it in no time, so it decided to stop and fight.

Big mistake.

I gunned the engine, brought uo the battering ram and knocked that EVO out cold.

Punk Busters | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

Huge mechanical boots. Suitable for any occasion.

If a freight train could do roundhouse kicks, that's what getting hit with these would feel like.

Ever hear the expression, "What a mile in my shoes"?

Well, with these babies, I can cover that in just a couple of leaps.

On this one mission, I was on top of a skyscraper when I spotted the big, ugly EVO we were looking for.

I jumped off the building and landed on that creep with both Punk Busters, hard enough to leave a crater.

They say any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Wee, it was a good landing for me; not so much for the EVO.

Smackhands | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

These giant robotic arms are great for getting up close and personal.

They can smash or lift heavy stuff or spin like super-charged drills.

Sometimes Providence likes to use negotiation or diplomacy, but I'd rather let these guys do the talking.

I remember when this huge EVO was smashing its way through the city. That monster thought it was the baddest thing on the block, until I hit the scene with my Smackhands.

After a quick round of uppercuts to the face, that EVO was down for the count.

Boogie Pack | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

When it's time to boogie out of a place, or I just need a little extra mobility, this high-flying jetpack does the job.

If I'm flying around and I need to bring down a bad guy, I can launch the twin turbines at them like a super-sized bola.

When I was after this flying EVO, I was having to push the Boogie Pack as hard as I could just to keep up.

If that monster got away, we'd never find it again, so I had to stop it fast.

I knew I only had one shot, so I sized it up, lauched the turbines, and...bull's-eye! That EVO was grounded for good.

The B.F.S. | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

There are times when only a really, really big sword will do.

Those are some of my favorite times.

If there's anything scarier than a giant sword, it's a giant chainsaw. Luckly, this weapon does both.

One time a bunch of creepy little EVOs barricaded themselves in an abandoned building.

They filled the doorway with so much junk, it was impossible to get through. But once I showed up with The BFS, I sliced right through it like a hot knife through butter.

After I got inside, all I had to do was rev the chainsaw, and those little punks surrendered.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Slam Cannon | Generator Rex Powers | Poderes Mutante Rex

This massive projectile laucher is perfect for when I've gotta have some real firepower.

Need ammo? No problem!

This baby can just grab a hunk of rock, metal or whatever and send it flying.

On times there was this nasty EVO holed up in a parking deck. He had us pinned down with these crazy energy blasts.

So I fired up the Slam Cannon and launched a few chunks of concrete into the parking deck's support beams.

That really brought down the house - and the EVO along with it!

Circe | Generator Rex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

Circe's a lot like me. She looks like a normal teenager until she starts using her abilities. But once she unleashes her sonic scream, she's a real powerhouse.

She works for Van Kleiss, but I can tell she doesn't always agree with his methods. Problem is, she feels like too much of an outsider in the real world and thinks Van Kleis and The Pack are the only ones who'll accept her. I don't know if I'll ever convince her to join the good guys, but I'll keep trying.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Breach | Generator Rex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

While the phrase "creepy, four-armed schoolgirl" is an accurate description of Breach, it doesn't quite do her justice.
She's like something out of a haunted house.

She has the power to tear open reality, making portals that can connect any two places, kind of like teleportation. You never know what direction an attack might come from when Breach is around.

Skalamander | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

Skalamander
is...well, to be honest, I have no idea what he is.
Freak of nature? Abomination?
Last guy in the world you'd want to high-five?

Anymay, what really matters is when Skalamander starts shooting those crystal spikes all over the place. Trust me, you do not want to get hit by one of those.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Biowulf | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

Biowulf may be fiercely loyal to his master, Van Kleiss, but he's no lapdog. With inhuman strength, speed and cunning, he's a warrior to be reckoned with.

Biowulf seems to be more or less the leader of the EVOs that work for Van Kleiss. They call themselves The Pack. They're all pretty tough on their own, but when they work together, they're almost unstoppable.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Van Kleiss | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

You know the brilliant but deranged mad scientists you see in the movies?
That's Van Kleiss, only he's a lot freakier and more dangerous. His body's unstable, so he needs a constant supply of fresh nanites to survive. He gets that supply from EVOs he captures and experiments on.

He rules a kingdom called Abysus, and inside the borders, he can control the whole environment - trees, earth, you name it. This is one guy you definitely don't want to tackle on his own turf.
But as powerful as Van Kleiss is when he's in Abysus, he crashes hard if he ever leaves his native soil.

Van Kleiss knows a lot of secrets: secrets about the nanites, and secrets about me. He claims to know all about my past and how I got my abilities. I'm determined to find answers somehow, but I'm not sure if I could ever make a deal with a creep like Van Kleiss.

White Knight | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

The White Knight is the guy who calls the shots at Providence. He's usually pretty cranky, but as long as he doesn't cramp my style too much, I can tolerate him.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody as determined to get rid of EVOs as the White Knight. He seems really scared of coming into contact with nanites, too, like some kind of germaphobe. As far as I know, he never leaves that sanitized, high-tech room he uses for an office.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Doctor Holiday | Noah | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagens Mutante Rex

Doctor Holiday is Providence's resident genius. She's an expert in just about every science, but her main focus is nanites, which means I'm her favorite test subject. Yeah, all the testing can be a pain, but if it helps me understand my abilities and figure out how I got them, then it's worth it.

Noah - When I need to get away from fighting freaky EVOs and find a nice dose normal, Noah's my guy.

He's a great friend whether we're playing basketball, going to the beach or just chilling out.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Bobo Haha | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

Bobo's the one who keeps things interesting around here. He's always ready to have a good time, especially if that includes talking down some bad guys. Sometimes Providence thinks Bobo's attitude might be a bad influence on me, but what else would you expect from a talking monkey?

Bobo's pretty handy in a fight. Of course, he usually tales a "shoot first, ask questions later" approach, but I know I can always count on him to cover my back.

From: Channel Cartoon Network

Agent Six | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

Agent Six is sort of like a secret agent crossed with a ninja, except he's way deadlier. He's also sort of like a nanny, since Providence always makes him look after me (REX), but he hates it when I call him that.

Who knows how many types of combat he's trained in? I've watched him do things with swords that I've never even seen in kung fu flicks. I'm hoping he'll teach me a few of his moves one day.

Six bosses me around sometimes, but I guess that's his job. Overall, thought, he's pretty cool, even if he's not the most talkative dude I've ever met.

Rex | GeneratorRex Character's | Personagem Mutante Rex

My name's Rex.

I'm pretty much your average teenager.

Well, except I can turn my body into all kinds of awesome machines. Like, if I need to throw down with some big ugly EVOs, I can build giant boots on my feet, or if I need to get somewhere in a hurry, I can build a super-fast jetpack.

How did I get these incredible abilities?
Nanites.

Yeah, the same tiny machines that turn some people and animals into monsters called EVOs make me into a one-man wrecking crew.

Of course, I'm not always about smashing stuff. (Even thought Six would probably disagree with that.)

I can also use my nanites to communicate with and control other machines. That comes in really handy when I need to open locked doors or hack into security systems.

But probably the most important ability I have is I can sometimes cure EVOs. That's right! I can extract the corrupted nanites, turning an EVO monster back to normal.

Seeing as I'm pretty much the ultimate offense and defense in the battle against EVOs, Providence considers me their number one weapon. They're the organization that was founded to combat and control EVOs.

They try to keep me on a pretty tight leash - emphasis on the word "try," hehe. But they've also promise to help me learn about my past.

See, somehow I lost all my memories. I have no idea who I really am or where I came from. But I intend to find out.

And if I get to save the world from rampaging EVOs along the way, that's even better.
